Nearby Dartmoor National Park provides superb walking and riding opportunities and the beautiful Tamar Valley an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is also well worth a visit. The north and south coasts can be reached in under an hour and provide some lovely days out. The nearby city of Plymouth boasts some excellent facilities theatre picturesque Barbican Hoe and National Maritime Museum. Closer to home is the ancient market town of Tavistock which offers a farmer s market shops pubs and restaurants. Amenities: bed linen towels electric and central heating included. Ample off-road parking within the pub car park. Wi-fi available in the pub next door. 1 dog welcome. Regret no smoking inside the properties. Location: beach at Downderry 20 miles pub next door and selection of pubs shops and restaurants in Tavistock approximately 3 miles. The first floor apartment is approached via a shared entrance and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 twin which can be pushed together to make a king upon request at the time of booking with a sofa bed (double that can accommodate 2 extra guests) and en-suite shower room with WC and 1 further twin. Bathroom: bath with shower over and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan living space with large flatscreen TV/DVD and french doors to enclosed balcony with seating. Kitchen area: with electric oven and hob fridge with ice compartment dishwasher and microwave. Outside: enclosed balcony with seating and views across Dartmoor National Park.
